Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 21, 2026 · Last updated: July 21, 2026
EDG.tech LLC ("EDG.tech," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, https://www.edg.tech (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site only; our client portal (client.edg.tech) and the managed services we deliver to clients are governed by their own terms and agreements.
Information you provide to us
Contact and assessment forms. When you submit our consultation or security-assessment forms, we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, phone number, company, and anything you include in your message. We use it to respond to your request — you'll receive a single confirmation email, and your inquiry is delivered to our team.
Scheduling. If you book a meeting through the scheduler on our contact pages, your booking details are processed through our client portal platform and used to hold the meeting and follow up with you.
Chat (Rosie). Our website assistant, Rosie, is an AI chat service. Conversations you have with Rosie — including any contact details you share so we can follow up — are processed by our chat platform provider on our behalf and reviewed by our team. Please don't share sensitive information (passwords, financial account numbers) in chat.
Newsletter. If you subscribe to our email briefing, we collect your email address and use it only to send that briefing. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
Information collected automatically
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived here. This helps us improve the Site and our content.
Behavioral analytics (Microsoft Clarity). We partner with Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use and interact with the Site through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay, which helps us improve the Site's usability. Website usage data is captured using first- and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies and is shared with Microsoft. For more about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Server logs. Our hosting infrastructure (Amazon Web Services) records standard technical logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — used for security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention.
Cookies. The Site uses cookies set by the analytics services above. It does not use advertising cookies, and we do not display third-party ads.
How we use information
We use the information described above to respond to your inquiries and provide requested services; operate, secure, and improve the Site; understand what content is useful to visitors; send communications you've requested; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Service providers
We share information only with the providers that operate parts of the Site on our behalf: Amazon Web Services (hosting, form delivery, and email notification), Google (analytics), Microsoft (Clarity behavioral analytics), our chat platform provider (Rosie conversations), and our client portal platform (scheduling and prospect records). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
Retention
Form submissions and chat records are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry and, if you become a client, for the duration of our relationship and applicable legal requirements. Analytics data is retained per the providers' standard periods. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below — we respond within 30 days. We honor these requests regardless of whether a specific law requires it.
Children
The Site is intended for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Third-party links
The Site links to other websites (including our social media profiles). Their privacy practices are their own; this policy doesn't cover them.
Security
We protect the Site and the information flowing through it with encryption in transit (HTTPS), hardened cloud infrastructure, and access controls — the same discipline we bring to our clients' environments. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but security is, quite literally, our business.
Changes to this policy
We'll post any updates here with a revised "last updated" date. Material changes will be noted prominently on this page.
