Why is Essentials per device and Complete per user?
Essentials protects machines, so it's priced per device. Complete covers people — each user's workstation, identity, inbox, and cloud accounts — so it's priced per user. Your quote states the unit explicitly, always.
Does the $100 include IT support, or just security?
Both. Complete is your entire IT department and 24/7 security in one flat fee — helpdesk, patching, Success Coach, the security operations center, all of it. IT is never priced separately.
Can we start with Essentials and upgrade later?
Yes — that's the point of the ladder. Start where you are, and when you're ready for 24/7 security and after-hours support, moving to Complete is a plan change, not a new project.
What do add-ons cost?
Add-ons are quoted per client environment after we understand your setup — the one published exception is Security Awareness Training on Essentials, at +$50 per user per year (it's included in Complete).
Are there long-term contracts?
No. Every plan is month-to-month. We'd rather earn your business every month than lock you into a term.
Do you publish your prices?
Yes. EDG.tech Essentials is $45 per device per month and EDG.tech Complete is $100 per user per month, for any small business in Maryland or Washington, DC. Add-ons are quoted per environment and the only published add-on is Security Awareness Training on Essentials at $50 per user per year. You will not find a lower number by calling; you will find the same one.
